I commit to lead by the example of my own life, to promote prevention and lifestyle change before intervention, and to develop a practice with an emphasis on whole-person health care rather than disease management.

I commit to be a good example, to help and encourage my patients to be healthy and to help their children be healthy. I will provide holistic care that focuses on the mind, the body and the spirit.

I commit myself to lead by example ! And always advocate for my patients. As someone in the Quality and Patient Safety world I will also speak with my peers of the importance of living out this pledge.

This pledge should replace the outdated Hippocratic Oath.

I promise to lead by example and always give patients tips for prevention as well as explain the physiology behind their disease process. The more a patient understands, the more power they have to take control and manage it on their own. I will treat with a wholistic approach covering everything from nutrition to exercise to prevention.

I started this shift on my own 5 years ago and I am so glad so many others are agreeing to it. I love owning a health and wellness business that is committed to empowering my clients to reclaim their health.
